College Football

There were a lot of college football upsets this weekend. Some of the more notable ones were FSU losing to NC State, VaTech losing to Miami, and Arizona destroying UCLA. Not to mention the Gators almost lost to a pitiful Vanderbilt team. And don’t tell me that Vandy has a good QB in Cutler. It doesn’t matter. They are still Vandy and they still took Florida into double overtime. How did Florida beat Georgia again?

It’s looking more and more like it will be USC vs Texas in the BCS Championship game. And that’s how it should be. The question to ask now is what happens if one of them loses and the rest of the top 5 win out? Does Alabama go to the championship with their undefeated season? The AP Poll has Miami ranked 3 and Alabama ranked 4. Would Miami go to the championship against undefeated USC even though Alabama is undefeated? These are tough questions that I hope don’t come up. Let’s see Texas vs USC. That’s the game everyone wants to see.

Listed below is this week's AP Top 25. I don't see how Virginia Tech gets dropped back all the way to 8. That's a little much don't you think?

VA Tech should definately not have been dropped below Notre Dame. They've got two losses for hell's sake

And Boston College went from #13 to # off the list.

I understand they're not the greatest team in the world, have lost both their games to ranked opponenents, play a really soft schedule . . . ok, um, forget I said anything.
